Sterling Marlin 2005 Michigan Nasty Fire Nice Save


Marlin usually dominates Michigan, so going into this race I was all excited about a possible nice finish but nooooo, stupid engine failure. Fire shoots out Marlin’s car, and he does a sweet job of turning it sideways to save himself from fire. Go Sterling!

In the final four laps of the 1995 DieHard 500 at Talladega, Sterling Marlin brings the Morgan-McClure team to yet another restrictor-plate win after holding off the challenges of Dale Jarrett, Dale Earnhardt, Morgan Shepherd, and Bill Elliott. The win was the third of Marlin’s career and his first at Talladega.
