Dale Earnhardt Jr. competed with Hendrick Motorsports teammates Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson this summer for a grant from the Pepsi Refresh Project. Each driver had an idea for a project, and the plan that received the most Internet votes received $100,000 in grant money.
