Greg Hansen’s Sunday Notebook: Dough rising fast for coaches
Every June, the UA will deposit $300,000 into a “retention fund” in the name of Sean Miller, which in effect raises his yearly salary to $2.3 million. It makes him the sixth-highest paid coach in college basketball. If Miller fulfills his contract, through 2014, he will collect the $1.5 million fund in its entirety.
