Jimmie Johnson in the lead for the Race To The Chase
Jimmie Johnson is in the lead with Rusty Wallace right on his tail. Honestly, of the guys in the chase Ryan Newman is my favorite, but, I really want Rusty Wallace to win. He’s retiring this year and I would like to see him go out on top.
A chase without Dale, Jr and Jeff Gordon just doesn’t seem right somehow. It’s like having the playoffs without the Braves or the Yankees…how can that happen?? I think Nascar may need to take a look at the points system and add on some winners points…
Racing in Talladega this weekend, of course Dale Earnhardt, Jr is the favorite. He has won five times at Talladega, but given the luck he is having this year I wouldn’t be surprised if he gets stuck in “the Big One�. I’m betting on Tony Stewart to win, he is having an awesome year and has even learned how to control his nasty temper.
Congratulations to Kyle Petty for finishing in 8th place at Dover! It’s Kyle’s first top 10 finish in a long time. I’m very happy for him, he is one of my favorite drivers.
