Kurt Busch wins Subway Fresh 500

Jeff Gordon had the pole and Kurt Busch started outside…the two “friends� from Martinsville starting together! Two time defending winner Dale Earnhardt, Jr. started 15th today. It rained early but the track was dry at race time. Darrell Waltrip gives the famous “Boogity, Boogity, Boogity, Let’s go racing, boys!� and they’re off.

Kurt Busch wins, Michael Waltrip comes in second despite kissing the wall in the last lap!

Kevin Harvick wins at Bristol

With substitute crew chief Scott Miller (Todd Berrier is serving a four race suspension) Kevin Harvick pulls it off. His first win in 55 races moves him from 11th to 6th in the points. Elliot Sadler finishes second after starting from the pole. Tony Stewart takes third after a wild spin close to the end of the race.

Jimmie Johnson still leads the points race.
